Josie and I just got back from a technology conference in Memphis regarding social networking (Facebook) and selling real estate. Met some great people from all over the country.  The future of real estate is using social networking to market property to a specific market. Real estate professionals who embrace this technology will have the ability to target their marketing efforts and as a result sell listings faster. A great example is a realtor with a new property in Naperville, this realtor can now send a ad of this home to all members on Facebook who live in Bolingbrook or Plainfield who may be looking to move-up into Naperville.  With social marketing the ad is spread quickly to other members who you are currently not connected with, and as a result your ad is seen by many more people than traditional advertising.
